This hotel’s facilities include a traditional Japanese restaurant, a natural hot spring spa with a sauna and massage salon, and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel is conveniently located for local transport and for several local attractions which makes it very popular with both tourist and business travelers.

Hotel Monterey Edelhof has 181 guest rooms over 22 floors. Guest rooms come in four main types: the Standard Single Room, the Standard Twin Room, the Hollywood Twin Room, and the Deluxe Twin Room. There is also one Luxury Room on the top floor of the hotel which also has twin beds, as well as a large sofa and a very spacious bathroom. All guest rooms are non-smoking.

All beds are fitted with high quality Simmons brand pocket coil spring mattresses to ensure a good night’s sleep. All rooms are supplied with an ionic hairdryer, pajamas, slippers, a TV, a desk, a telephone, a letter set, a laundry bag, a kettle, free Wi-Fi intent access and LAN cable connection, a refrigerator, a wardrobe with coat-hangers, an air conditioner, and a combined air purifier and humidifier with a plasma-cluster filter. Bathrooms are supplied with towels, a bath mat, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath sponges, razors, toothbrush sets, comb, cotton cuds, and shower caps.

Breakfast & Dining
This hotel offers a large buffet breakfast with both Western and Japanese dishes and plenty of fresh vegetables, salad greens, fruit, bread, seafood, omelettes, a variety of juices, coffee and tea, and also special dishes such as pork shabu shabu, nikujaga (potato and beef stew), and Sapporo style curry. Breakfast is served between 7.00 and 10.00 with last entry at 9.30. The fee per person is 2,140 yen.
This hotel also has a traditional Japanese restaurant called Zuientei on the 13th floor. This restaurant serves seasonal dishes using fresh Hokkaido ingredients and presented in an artistic style together with the very best sake selection. Zuientei is open for lunch and dinner and also for “tea time” (14.00 to 17.00) on weekends. Private dining rooms are also available.
A simple meal and drinks menu is also available in the 14th floor Spa Lounge.

Hotel Monterey Edelhof has a 24-hour reception desk with staff who can speak both Japanese and English. Check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out time is by 11.00. Luggage can be stored at reception before checking in and after checking out.

Baby cribs can be rented for 1,100 yen per night, but must be reserved in advance.
This hotel has its own hot spring spa on the 14th floor which is named after the famous Czech spa resort Karlovy Vary. The spa features a jet bath, a sauna, an open-air bath, a massage salon, and a bedrock bath which is fitted with natural silica stone slate for infrared and negative ion therapy. The natural sodium-chloride spring waters of the baths are said to be good for all kinds of aches and pains, muscle stiffness, digestive problems, and fatigue. The spa is also equipped with a lounge which has a full menu of food and drinks and there is also a private dining room available here for parties of between 5 and 24 people. Use of the spa baths requires an additional fee of 1,700 yen per guest per day. Use of the bedrock bath costs an additional 1,100 yen for a 60-minute session. The spa is open from 11.00 till 23.00 with last entry at 22.00.
This hotel also has its own Christian chapel and a Shinto shrine where wedding ceremonies can be held.
