Sapporo Prince Hotel is a luxury urban resort hotel located in a 107-meter-tall tower building in central Sapporo. This hotel’s diverse facilities and services include French, Chinese and Japanese restaurants, an on-site hot spring spa, a self-service laundromat, and shopping facilities. In addition, this hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from Sapporo Station and it is also has a direct connection to New Chitose Aiport via the Airport Liner express bus service.

Guest Rooms
Sapporo Prince Hotel has 587 guest rooms over 28 floors. Rooms and suites come with double, twin, triple, or quadruple beds, and are graded as Standard, Superior, or Deluxe. Standard rooms are on the 5th to 12th floors, Superior rooms on the 14th to 21st floors, and Deluxe rooms are on the “Royal” executive floors which are between the 22nd and 27th floors. Guest rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished, and decorated in gentle color tones that express warmth and relaxation.

Standard Twin Room
All guest rooms are supplied with a TV with satellite channels that receive broadcasts English, Korean, and Chinese. Also provided are a telephone, a refrigerator, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, an ice bucket, a safe for valuables, a combined humidifier and air purifier, nightwear and slippers. All rooms have free high-speed wired and wireless internet access. Bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrushes, razors, shower caps, hand wash, combs, deodorant, and towels.

Breakfast & Dining
Sapporo Prince Hotel has four restaurants, a bar, and a café. A buffet breakfast is available at two locations. The café also has a cheap breakfast option.
Buffet Restaurant Hapuna is located on the 1st floor and serves a breakfast buffet between 6.00 and 10.00. The breakfast buffet features both Western and Japanese dishes such as scrambled eggs, fluffy omelettes, sausages, squid noodles, broiled salmon, soups, salads, fruits, breads, cereals, and takeout coffee. The breakfast buffet is priced at 2,700 yen. There is also a lunchtime buffet between 11.30 and 14.30 which costs 2,800 yen.
Le Trianon is a French restaurant on the hotel’s top floor (28F) which serves a breakfast buffet between 6.30 and 9.30. However, this buffet is only available for guests staying in the executive rooms on the “Royal Floors” between the 22nd and 27th floors. This breakfast includes items from both Western and Japanese cuisines and items such as seafoods and salads. The breakfast fee is included in the room fee for guests staying in executive guest rooms.
Le Trianon is also open for dinner between 17.30 and 22.00 with last orders at 21.00. Here you can enjoy a gorgeous night view of the city while enjoying fine French cuisine.
Miyanomori Café is café and bakery located on the 1st floor of the hotel which has a range of cheap morning set menus costing between 600 and 800 yen. For 700 yen you can get a plate of toast, eggs, bacon, and salad with coffee or tea. Breakfast sets are available between 9.00 and 11.30. The café stays open until 21.00 (last order at 20.30) serving a variety of cakes, pastries, and light meals such as simple curry and pasta dishes. Bread, cakes, and pastries can also be bought to take out.
Steak House Katsura is a teppanyaki restaurant on the top floor of the hotel serving steak and seafood. Meal are expertly grilled on a hotplate in front of the diners and served with a fine selection of wines. This restaurant is open between 17.30 and 22.00 with last orders at 21.30.
Fuyo-jyo is a Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor of the hotel Szechuan cuisine with both an a la carte and course menu. This restaurant is open for lunch between 11.30 and 14.30 with last orders at 14.00 and for dinner between 17.30 and 21.30 with last orders at 21.00.
Sky Lounge Top of Prince is the top floor hotel bar with a wonderful view over the city and expert bar tenders making perfect cocktails. From Sunday to Thursday the bar is open from 17.30 to 23.00 with last orders at 22.30. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar stays open till midnight with last orders at 23.30. The lounge is also open on weekends and holidays for lunch and teatime (12.00 – 17.30) when it serves special dessert plates which can be accompanied with your drink of choice such as herbal teas or sparkling wine.
Private dining rooms are also available on the 28th floor for parties and receptions.
Other Services & Facilities
Sapporo Prince Hotel has a 24-hour reception desk in the 1st floor lobby which has multilingual staff. Reception staff are friendly and helpful and can give advice on sightseeing and transportation options. Check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out time is by 11.00. Luggage can be stored at reception before checking in or after checking out.

The following items can be borrowed from reception: a baby bed, a trouser press, an iron and a CD player.
There is a foreign currency exchange machine beside the reception desk which can be used 24 hours a day. The machine can change all of the following currencies into Japanese yen: US dollars, euros, pound sterling, Australian dollars, Indonesian rupiah, Malaysian ringgit, Chinese yuan, Korean won, Hong Kong dollars, Taiwanese dollars, and Singapore dollars.
There is a 24-hour internet corner in the 1st floor lobby which has computers and a printer for guests’ use. To access the internet for 10 minutes costs 100 yen. To print a single sheet of A4 paper costs 30 yen.

There are also some shops on the 1st floor which include a fashion boutique called Shiz, and a combined convenience store and gift shop called Dosan Market which sells a variety of Hokkaido specialty goods as well as drinks, snacks, magazines, and other daily groceries.
There is a self-service laundry room on the 3rd floor which has coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Washing machines cost 300 yen for a single cycle with detergent automatically added, and dryers cost 100 yen for a 20 minute spin.
Also on the 3rd floor there is a free ice machine and microwave oven.
This hotel has its own common use hot spring baths separated by gender which are for the exclusive use of hotel guests. There are both indoor and outdoor baths and the natural mineral waters are said to be good for nerve pain, sore muscles, poor circulation, and fatigue. The hot springs are located on the 2nd floor and open between 16.00 and 24.00 (with last entry at 23.30) and between 5.00 and 10.00 with last entry at 9.30. The fee for one day’s use is 500 yen for adults and 350 yen for children.
Guests at Sapporo Prince Hotel can use the facilities at the nearby Central Wellness Club Sapporo at the special reduced price of 2,200 yen. This fee includes access to a fully equipped gym, indoor swimming pool, studios, and spa plus the use of a bath towel and face towel. The club is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and entrance tickets can be bought at the hotel reception desk.
Meeting rooms on the 2nd floor are available for guests’ use 24 hours a day and can be booked at reception. There is also a Convention Center in a separate wing of the hotel which has a variety of facilities suitable for conferences, meetings, ceremonies, events, banquets, parties and exhibitions.
There is a free shuttle bus service for hotel guests between the hotel and JR Sapporo Station that runs regular services every hour from early morning until night.

Airport Liner Bus services to and from New Chitose Airport run directly to and from the hotel. The travel time between the hotel and the airport varies from between 80-90 minutes in the summer season and 100-120 minutes in winter.
Toyota Rent-a-car have a telephone located in the hotel lobby which guests can use to make car rental reservations. The telephone is a direct line to their local office which is open between 8.00 and 20.00. The office is only a short distance away and rental vehicles will be delivered directly to the hotel at no extra charge.
The hotel parking lot has a capacity for 248 cars and the parking fee for hotel guests is 1,500 yen for the duration of their stay. Parking reservations are not possible, but should the hotel’s parking lot be full, hotel staff will guide you to a nearby parking area.

Sapporo Prince Hotel is a 4-minute walk from Nishi-Juitchome Station on the Tozai Subway Line. It is also a 3-minute walk from Chuo-Kuyakusho-Mae Station on the Sapporo Streetcar network. By taxi it takes 10 minutes to get to JR Sapporo Station. The hotel’s location is convenient for Odori Park, Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, Tanukikoji shopping arcade, and the historic Shiryokan building (Sapporo’s former Court of Appeals).
